It's my party and I'll drool if I want to

Today I turn the big 2-2. What a weird age. I feel like there are no more milestones until 30, then 40... OK ENOUGH

To celebrate my birthday, I present you to food that looks delicious. Who doesn't like a little eye-candy sometimes? If I weren't going out for epic Indian buffet with my famjam tonight, this is what I would be dreaming of eating...

Baked Lemon Pasta

Avocado Summer Wrap

Chickpea Salad

Sweet Potato Skins

Sunny side up on aparagus

MAC AND CHEESE GRILLED CHEESE. No link to a recipe but...I think the picture is enough. (EDIT: Found a Link)

EXCUSE ME PLEASE

HELLO can I please have a moment of your time?
I would like to take this opportunity to express my feelings of love and appreciation for the Luella Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Here are a few bullet points for you before I continue:

- The detail shots are extremely important and fantastic
- If you like little cupcakes with frosting and pearls you will like this collection
- If liberty print is your poison, you will like this collection
- If you're into those little lacy things that go over your face (I have no idea what to call them) you will love this collection
- If you just plain LIKE REALLY PRETTY SHIT you will like this collection

Ok now that you have been briefed, you may proceed.

stefanie serves scrumptious, sensual salads

Not to get all Dana on your asses (because she's awesome and I couldn't match her culinary masterpieces if I tried) but I'd like to share with you one of the best salads I have ever had.

I created this today whilst I was home for lunch and predict that I will subsist solely on it for a couple of days.

Stefanie Salad
(because when you make a salad you get to name it after yourself ok)

You will need:

-spring mix greens (and...purples...I guess?)

-pine nuts

-feta cheese

-olive oil

-high-qual balsamic vinegar

-pepper

- ginger-garlic-cilantro sea salt (I purchased this as a gift for my aunt in this huge beautiful market in Vancouver and get to reap the benefits)
*OPTIONAL BUT..AMAZING*

Directions: Honestly, just mix it all together and call it a day. But eat it before you call it a day. Ok? Ok.
